Salmon Leap Cottage was completely renovated to a high standard in 2009. This is an 18th century, warm and comfortable two bed-roomed cottage, nestling between two rivers in a pretty hamlet. It is an area of outstanding beauty and is a designated site of specific scientific interest. The cottage is five miles to the North of Brecon and provides the perfect tranquil location for rest and recuperation.
There are wonderful walks from the door with views over the stunning scenery of the Brecon Beacons. There is ample opportunity to see a variety of wildlife including Herons, Red Kites and even leaping Salmon which can be spotted from the veranda of the cottage.
It is very well equipped and beautifully decorated with quality furnishings.
The property consists of a comfortable lounge with stone fireplace and log burner (Logs for one fire provided further baskets of logs are available at cost).
However if you prefer not to be making up fires there is central heating available within the rental price.
